Throughout the year many kinds of positions become available:

Casual Work
• Harvesting fruits, vegetables and flowers
• Snow and ice removal
• General labour on farms, greenhouses, nurseries
• General labour with landscapers

Relief Work
• Dairy workers
• Poultry workers

Seasonal Work
• Greenhouse workers
• Nursery workers
• Vineyard workers
• Fruit farm workers

Full Time Permanent Work
• Greenhouse workers
• Dairy and livestock workers
• Poultry workers
• Vineyard workers
• Fruit farm workers
• Landscape workers
• Nursery workers
• Machine operators
• Infrastructure maintenance workers
• Shipper / receivers
• Drivers – delivery and long haul

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be 14 years of age or older
• Must legally be able to work in Canada
• Must supply a recent resume and references

Students Under 18: $8.90/hr
*piece rates do not apply to students


Adults: $9.50/hr


Strawberries:
$0.47/quart
$2.89/ 8 quart flat
$2.22/ 6 quart flat


Sweet Cherries:
$2.04/ 6-quart basket with stems
$1.89/ 6-quart basket without stems
$3.45/ 11-quart basket with stems
$3.16/ 11-quart basket without stems


Sour Cherries:
$1.89/ 6-quart basket
$3.16/ 11-quart basket


Pears:
$1.81/bushel


Raspberries:
$0.50/pint 

Grapes:
$1.69/ bushel
$2.02/ winery container
$1.37/ 12 litre master (6x2 or 3x4)
$1.71/ 8 x 2 litre master


Grape Pruning:
$0.45 - 0.53 pc rate
or must make equivalent of minimum hourly rate

Grape Tying:
$0.32 - 0.38 pc rate
or must make equivalent of minimum hourly rate
