WHMIS Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)


WHMIS training is a video-based workshop that provides information on the safe use of hazardous materials used in the workplace. The workshop will cover product labels, material safety data sheets (MSDS), and work procedures, including storage, handling and emergency situations. A certificate and wallet card will be issued upon successful completion of the training.

This is a 4-part workshop series that provides the foundation for a successful job search on the computer. The series includes:

  • Basic operation of a computer
  • Introduction to the Internet and helpful job search sites
  • Introduction to email, including creating an account, usage and etiquette
  • Using Microsoft Word to create and edit resumes
  • Overview of social media and its role in a job search

Smart Serve Smart Serve


Smart Serve provides responsible alcohol beverage service training and is required by all establishments that serve alcohol in Ontario. The workshop will cover a range of topics, including signs of intoxication, legal rights and responsibilities, and prevention and intervention. A certificate and pin will be issued upon successful completion of the training. Cost of training is $35.

This workshop is designed to provide you with the knowledge and information required to protect construction crews and motoring public, give motorists simple directions, explain hazards, and allow construction to proceed safely and efficiently. A $10 fee is required the day of the workshop.

The Safe Food Handling 2-day program is designed to provide information on the general principles of food safety, including Public Health legislation, hazards, food borne illnesses, healthy eating, personal hygiene and sanitation.

Adobe Photoshop Adobe Photoshop - Beginners


Learn the fundamentals of the popular graphics editing program in six classes. Training covers a range of topics, including layers, adjustments, blending, type, brushes, portrait retouching, etc. A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the program.
