As the bilingual marketing and promotion assistant, you will be responsible for supporting and executing radio promotion campaigns that will build our brand and build visibility for musicians, with traditional as well as digital marketing strategies through phone calls, emails, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Google.
Duties:
- Maintain a database of radio stations throughout Canada (campus, commercial, internet)
- Build relationships and make calls to radio stations bi-weekly (french and english language)
- Write and send out a bi-weekly newsletter to french radio contacts
- Team player with the ability to independently as well as take initiative to meet deadlines
- Participate in live shows, music events and conferences like CMAO, CMW & more!
Requirements:
We are a small promotion company with lots to do:
- Able to help with other tasks
- Wanting to learn about the music and radio business, and support in different areas as needed may happen from time to time
- Must be proficient in both English and French reading and writing
