A local grocery store is seeking a Meat Clerk to join their growing team.
Duties:
- Supports the Meat Manager by maintaining and replenishing product inventory, by checking stock levels and preparing and processing customers orders
- Weigh, wrap and price meat products as directed by Meat Manager
- Basic understanding of government legislations regarding meat products
- Maintain clean and sanitized work stations at all times
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of meat products
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and staff
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience preferred but not required
Interested candidates must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends
