Greentario is a Hamilton based award winning landscape construction company. They are currently looking to hire an experience landscaper for the position of Landscape Construction Foreperson. They are currently recruiting for positions that will begin in 2021.
Duties:
- Construction of interlocking including walkways, driveways, patios, walls and permeable paving
- Provide leadership to crew members
- Planting of trees, shrubs, plants and flowers
- Setting grades, reading and understanding plans, specifications and blueprints
- Site preparation
- Snow removal and ice management
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of landscaping experience
- Minimum 3 years of interlocking experience including walkways, driveways, patios, walls and permeable paving
- Experience leading crew members
- Experience with planting, natural stone, basic woodwork, landscape layout, site preparation
- Experienced in setting grades, reading and understanding plans and specifications
- Capable of physical labour
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized, self-motivated, dependable
- Clean Class G with driver's abstract is required
- Landscape diploma or certification is an asset
