Mission Thrift Store in Beamsville is currently seeking a Cashier. This position offers part time hours, up to 15 hours per week with potential for extra hours. The ideal candidate will understand the needs and wants of a thrift store customer and deliver exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Receive and process payments including cash and debit transactions
- Provided excellent customer service
- Issue receipts, refunds and change to customers
- Count money and balance cash drawer
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a cash register, an asset
- Basic math skills; able to count change
- Able to stand for full length of shift
- Personable and friendly with excellent interpersonal skills
- Available to work some Saturdays
