Duties:
  • Receive shipments of incoming stocks and deliveries
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments/orders
  • Schedule couriers, shipments, and pick-ups
  • Unload/load deliveries
  • Assist in workflow preparations and organization
  • Read and interpret shipping specs accurately
  • Perform work with little supervision and in a safe manner
  • Maintain and organize HH4/ SR2 area
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Greenhouse knowledge considered an asset
  • Availability to work occasional overtime and weekends when required
  • Must successfully complete a police background clearance to be eligible for employment with Phoena
  • Licensed to operate Forklift
  • Work start times will vary according to intra-company transfers to Langstaff
  • Must be Sage certified for shipping; responsible for departmental/ position data entry and maintenance
  • CTLS Security Clearance would be necessary for vault access
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License
  • Valid DZ License considered an asset
  • Previous shipping/receiving experience considered an asset
  • Must pass an RCMP security clearance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

About the Role:

  • Permanent full-time positions available (37.5 hours per week)
  • $21.00 per hour to start; with benefits after 3 months
