A busy siding contractor in Stoney Creek is looking to fill four full time positions for the role of Pre-Fabricated Panel Installation Supervisor. This contractor specializes in construction, fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair services. Projects include commercial, institutional, industrial and residential.
These four positions offer 40 hours a week with an immediate start date. Ideal candidates must have open availability including: on call, overtime, early morning, morning, days and weekends (hours to be determined).
• Supervise workers and projects
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Train or arrange for training,
• Set up machines and equipment
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Recommend personnel actions
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Requisition or order materials equipment and supplies
• Prepare production and other reports
• Oversee apprenticeship training
• Estimate costs and materials
• Secondary school education
• 2 Years to less than 3 years experience
• Ability to supervise 5-10 staff members (Cladders/siding installers, apprentices, trade helpers, labourer and insulators)
• Working at heights training preferred
• Own Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles
• Basic security clearance
• Valid driver's licence, willing to travel, own transportation
• Ability to manage deadlines
