Interpretive Programming Assistant
The Town of Lincoln is now accepting applications for the position of an Interpretive Programming Assistant. The Interpretive Programming Assistant’s primary functions will be to assist in the development and delivery of educational programming and camps, including giving museum tours and leading activities. Other responsibilities include (but is not limited to) participating with and supervising youth volunteers at a variety of community outreach and special community events.
The Successful Candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- Current Standard First Aid/CPR C certification
- High Five Principles of Health Child Development Certificate
- Experience within a museum setting
- Pursuing a degree/diploma in education, museum studies, history, or related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience and/or comfort with costumed interpretation
- Valid Police Waiver (for those candidates over the age of 18)
The hourly rate is $15.82 based on 35 hours during the summer months.
