Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Couples Counsellor with formal training in the Gottman Method. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping couples strengthen their relationships and is comfortable working with diverse relationship dynamics.
Requirements:
● Formal training and certification in the Gottman Method
● Minimum of 2 evenings per week, 1 half-day every other weekend or late evenings in the week, availability
● Minimum 3 years of counselling experience with couples
● Proof of Liability Insurance, aggregate 5 million
● Registration and good standing with a relevant professional body
● Ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
● Develop and goal treatment plans based on the client’s needs
● Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the practice to ensure comprehensive care for clients
● Police Check with Vulnerable Sector
Compensation: $90–$125 per session (based on experience)
