Precision Rolls located in Grimsby is looking to hire an Entry Level Position General Labourer. This is a day shift, full time position offering a 40 hour work week. The ideal candidate must be comfortable in an industrial atmosphere with large machinery.
Training will be provided. This position has the potential for advancement based on completion of training, skills and production performance.
Duties:
- Constructing wooden crates for shipping rolls
- Using various hand tools
- Off loading and loading trucks with cranes
- Maintain safe and clean working environment
- Assist other team members when required
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Working knowledge of hand tools
- Able to drive a forklift
- Able to operate a crane
- Not afraid to get dirty, working in an industrial environment
- Sandblasting knowledge is an asset
- Able to stand, lift and bend for duration of shift
- Health and Safety certificate an asset
- WHMIS certificate an asset
