Seasonal & Casual School Crossing Guard #9007

The Town of Lincoln is currently seeking friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as School Crossing Guards. This part-time job (up to 4 hours / day during the school year) assist pedestrians in crossing roadways safely and efficiently during school arrival and dismissal times.
Regular Seasonal School Crossing Guard
• Assigned to a specific crossing location.
• Scheduled to work Monday through Friday during the school year.
• Part-time hours, up to approximately 4 hours per day.
Spare/Casual Seasonal School Crossing Guard
• Provides coverage for absences, vacations, and operational needs.
• Works on an as-needed basis at various crossing locations throughout the Town.
• Hours and schedules will vary based on operational requirements.
The Successful Candidates will have the following skills:
- Superior customer service skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work outside in all weather
- Ability to walk or stand for the duration of the scheduled shift
- Must be physically able to wear and carry crossing guard safety equipment (ie. Vest and handheld crossing guard stop sign)
- Ability to apply for and provide a clear Police Clearance Certificate
- Must have your own reliable transportation
This is a part-time position with an hourly rate of $22.46.
