Windmill Gardens in Beamsville is looking to hire two Harvesters. This is a part time, on call position. Ideal candidates must be flexible to work various hours when called. This role has the potential to gain more hours based on incoming customer demand. Training will be provided.
Duties:
- To follow the daily instructions provided by the Harvest Supervisor
- Harvesting curly willow branches
- Cutting, bundling and tagging branches
- Pulling off leaves
- Processing branches
- Moving product into cooler storage
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Clean and store all tools and equipment
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Experience is an asset but not a necessity
- Must be Canadian Citizen or legally eligible to work in Canada
- Able to lift 35 lbs
- Comfortable to work in various outdoor weather conditions
- Able to stand, lift and bend for duration of shift
