A local furniture store is currently seeking a Driver/Delivery Person. This position offers full time, flexible hours which may include some Saturdays.
Duties:
- Efficiently load, secure and protect merchandise in delivery vehicle
- Offload and deliver furniture to store customers
- Responsible for moving floor stock
- Use a computer to manage delivery schedule and maintain data
- Effectively use maps and electronic travel devices
Requirements:
- Valid Class G Driver Licence and clean driving record
- Routine lifting and loading of merchandise; must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting and moving
- Exceptional customer service skills and a professional appearance
- Basic computer skills
- Available to work some Saturdays
