Mountain Automotive is a full-service auto repair shop in Grimsby with services including domestic, foreign, and off-road and hybrid auto repair from oil changes to brakes repair. We put our clients first, provide honest advice, and stand behind our product. We’ve been serving Grimsby and the surrounding area since 2006.
We are currently hiring for a Licenced Mechanic or 3rd Year Apprentice or Apprentice. This position offers full time hours, Monday to Friday.
Duties:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including oil changes, tire rotation and brakes
- Use computerized scanning and diagnostics equipment/inspect components to diagnose malfunctions
- Adjust, repair or replace parts such as gaskets, fuel systems, engine and drive train, transmissions, alignment, exhaust, cooling, climate control, electrical and front end components
- Use hand, air and power tools as well as specialized automotive repair equipment including alignment machine
Requirements:
- Strong ability to diagnose and repair vehicles
- Physically able to perform preventative maintenance and shop maintenance
- Reliable and accountable
- Capable of working alone, under supervision and with time constraints
- Health & Safety certificate, an asset
- WHMIS certificate, an asset
- Training provided
