We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our team Reporting directly to the Advisors. The Assistant will coordinate and deliver exceptional administrative support to the Advisors. A valued member of the team, the Assistant helps with scheduling to maximize sales opportunities, welcomes clients to the office, and helps to create an efficient and compliant office environment.

Candidates hired into this role by the Advisors will not have an employment or contractor relationship with Sun Life. Their services will be engaged exclusively by the Advisors.

Duties:

• In partnership with the Advisors, develop and execute on plan to meet operational and administrative goals
• As requested, schedule appointments and manage advisor’s workflow (preparation for client meetings, events, tasks, follow up, etc.)
• Manage office tasks such as filing, Salesforce updates, generating reports, and presentations requiring the use of independent judgement and initiative
• Support the advisor to create marketing / sales opportunities (mining client data, marketing efforts, client service, proactive contact, etc.)
• Support the advisor in monitoring and responding to Head Office inquiries
• Daily management of advisor social media tools

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service, or other related fields
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications or Marketing or relevant experience
• Proven ability to work independently and competently handle multiple responsibilities, with a high degree of accuracy and reliability, in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Strong relationship building and office administration skills
• Highly proficient use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce

Compensation
• Compensation will vary based on factors such as level of experience and industry network
