Avondale in Smithville is looking to hire a mature Cashier/Store Clerk. This position offers part time hours and the successful candidate would be available for any and all shifts. Hours of work will vary as the store is open 7 days per week. The position requires open availability in the fall as well as the summer.
Duties:
- Process cash, debit and credit card transactions
- Stock shelves and coolers
- Sell and process lottery tickets and tobacco
- Clean and maintain work area
- Assist customers in a friendly and pleasant manner
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Able to multi task
- Good mathematical abilities
- Previous cash handling experience
