The Dishwasher Technician is responsible for performing repair and maintenance work as assigned by supervisors and managers and for meeting and exceeding the quality control standards of the service department in accordance with factory  standards. The Technician is expected to work with all of the shop technicians and is capable of providing quality service to all makes and models of dishwashers and performing repair and diagnostics as offered and contracted by the shop.

Duties:
  • Receive repair orders from writer and take equipment to stall areas
  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Inform supervisors if equipment is down awaiting parts and pursue special ordering of parts, if appropriate

General housekeeping is a must. Technicians are responsible and expected to keep their working areas clean and tidy. They are to put away any shop equipment that they might have used when the job is completed. All benches are to be clean of all tools at the end of the night.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Advance mechanical skills; must possess and electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Good manual dexterity, good judgement, honesty and cooperation skills
  • Able to perform duties and generate hours in accordance with service policies and guidelines
  • Must have a valid Ontario driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record and safe driving habits in order to drive company vehicles
  • Forklift Certificate, an asset

Compensation:

The Dishwasher Technician compensation package consists of a pay rate of $17.50/hour payable weekly based on a 40 work week. In addition to this, a production bonus is available that is only limited by your knowledge and drive.

Benefit Package:

AVAILABLE MEDICAL AND DENTAL PACKAGE PAYABLE 50% BY THE EMPLOYER TO A MAXIMUM OF $150.00 PER MONTH.
