A local landscape construction and property maintenance company is looking to hire a full time Landscape/Construction Labourer. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with construction and landscaping experience.
Duties:
- Install hard/soft landscapes (interlocking patios, fences, etc.)
- Commercial planting, sodding, grading
- Reading construction plans and layouts
- Estimate materials
- Operate small machinery
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- “G” licence is an asset – must have own transportation to and from work
- Must own steel toe work boots
- Attention to detail; able to work independently
- Able to do heavy lifting, 40+ lbs
- Able to work in a labour intensive position
- Able to work Monday - Saturday hours with shifts generally starting at 7am
