A local service franchise located in Beamsville responsible for locating and fixing leaks is seeking a Full Time Pool Repair Technician for the busy summer season. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Longer hours possible based on repair jobs scheduled.
Duties:
Applicant will be expected to assist one of our certified technicians with swimming pool repairs that consist of:
- Removing and replacing concrete in repair area
- Reconstruction of pool repairs
- Installing & repairing pool plumbing lines
- Helping load and unload the service vehicle with equipment and supplies
Requirements:
- Previous construction experience and pool knowledge advantageous, but not essential
- Mechanical knowledge and abilities
- Quick learner
- Comfortable working outdoors and longer hours
- A valid Drivers licence and clean driving record
- Steel-toed safety boots required
- Health & Safety training will be required
The successful candidate will be supervised and work along-side a certified technician. Safety boots must be worn on the job at all times. Goggles and gloves will be worn when required.
