Sobeys in Beamsville is looking for a Salad Bar clerk to join their team.
This position offers part time hours with potential for full time. The ideal candidate must be available to work various days and hours throughout the week Monday to Sunday including days, evenings and weekends.
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Assist customers as needed
- Follow safe food handling processes and procedures
- Maintain a clean and orderly work station
- Prepare fruit, wash, cut and package
- Prepare fruit trays to order
- Prepare salads according to recipe
- Run production sheets
- Clean and sanitize work station in compliance with safety and sanitation processes
Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Retail experience, an asset
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Safe Food Handling certificate, an asset
- WHMIS training, an asset
- Health & Safety training, an asset
