Benchland Service Group, located in Smithville, is looking to hire a full-time employee to do landscaping construction work. BSG is a full service landscaping company, specializing in hardscape design, construction, installation and maintenance. Wage is dependent upon experience.
Duties:
- Safely drive company vehicle to/from job sites/suppliers - class G licence
- Complete projects such as planting, landscape rejuvenation, garden renovations, deck/pergola construction, site drainage improvements, garden bed re-mulching, fence construction/repairs, etc.
- Safely operate common equipment such as a skidsteer, excavator, stone & chain saws, destumper, chipper and various power & hand tools (as required)
- Interact with clients on site when needed, providing exceptional customer service in a polite and courteous manner
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years work experience is preferred
- References must be available on request
- Valid G Class Drivers Licence
- Clean drivers abstract
- Able to work independently within a team environment
