A local business specializing in residential, commercial and light industrial painting, decorating and renovations is hiring an experienced, full time Painter/Decorator.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for paint or paper
- Paint in residential, commercial or light industrial settings
- Hand vinyl or paper wall coverings
- Interact with customers to ensure accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Painter
- Knowledgeable in various painting techniques; typically brush and roll
- Experience in airless spraying
- Familiar with tools and equipment used in the trade
- Read blueprints, follow instructions and attention to detail
- Work well in a team environment
- Customer service oriented; ability to interact with customers
- Own steel toe boots, hard hat and safety glasses
- Valid "G" Driver's Licence
- Own transportation required to get to each job site
