A popular local restaurant in Beamsville is looking for an enthusiastic, Prep Cook to join their team. This position offers full time or part time hours, during various days of the week.
Duties:
- Setting up and sanitizing workstations in the kitchen
- Preparing ingredients
- Assisting chefs in preparing food
- Perform basic cooking duties, monitor stock levels,
- Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible
- Maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen
- Take on culinary tasks as they arise
Requirements:
- Experience as a prep cook
- Understand and comply with food and sanitation guidelines and procedures
- Follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical endurance, standing for duration of shift
- Flexibility schedule to work shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights
- Non slip shoes
- Food Handlers certificate (or obtain before job start)
