Dykstra Bros. Roofing Ltd. is committed to providing the highest level of quality and reliable service in the roofing installation and maintenance industry. We are currently seeking a Boom Crane Operator to join our very busy team. This position offers full time hours.
Duties:
- Load and unload truck; lift material and load roof
- Maintain truck; inspect tires, lights, brakes and vehicle performance
- Effectively use maps and other location devices to locate delivery destinations and plan routes
- Tarp and secure loads
Requirements:
- OSSD or equivalent
- Boom Truck Crane Operator Certificate
- At least one year of experience
- Criminal record check
- Valid licence and clean driver's abstract
- Strong attention to detail; ability to work well under pressure
- Able to work outdoors
- Strong written communication skills to process documents
- Excellent oral communication skills to interact well with the team
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Good organization and job task planning skills
Full time position - must be flexible in doing other tasks during slow periods ex. assist with repair crew or flat roof crew.
Part time position with flexibility option available.
