Welcome, Greet and Communicate with clients regularly, by the way of in-person, phone and email, as reception to the office. Manage a variety of administrative tasks, including the opening and closing of the office, along with stationary review, filling and ordering and scanning, attaching and re-naming documents to our Brokerage Management System. You will additionally, receive and re-distribute correspondence to the office, which arrives via mail, courier, e-mail and phone message. The role has the potential for further expansion into a Technical Service Representative, who would receive instructions from the Insurance Broker staff of the office and then, in turn process the instructions into a variety of systems in order to facilitate policy changes, as directed by the licensed Insurance Brokers employed by Erion Insurance Group.
Customer Service & Reception
- Welcome and Greet clients and connect their needs with the staff in the office or outside resources at the insurance companies we work with.
- Maintain professional demeanor when handling complaints, problem solving, and interpreting/resolving conflicts with clients and the general public.
- Problem solve with other employees regarding client’s needs
- Follow up on accounts receivables and receive payments.
- Use standard approaches, protocols and techniques to manage relationships
Administrative Duties
- Open the office and ensure that it appears organized and welcoming.
- Ensure that all the office and systems are well stocked with stationary
- Disseminate information to staff, management, and clients to fluid communication
- Enter and maintain information in our Brokerage Management System database (using The Agency Manager (TAM) database)
- Review, update and provide input to Management on tasks and job duties
- Assess the accuracy of information being used and quality of own output. Take action to organize things in order to reduce uncertainty or variance, and improve quality accuracy and/or clarity.

- Contribute expertise and judgement to decision making processes at the administrative level.
- Create and supervise execution of action plans to address goals and ideas within the focused role and the broader operation, as it relates to the Office Administration
