Farewell Electric in Smithville provide service for both residential and commercial markets and we service anywhere from Niagara to the Greater Toronto Area. Our Master electrician has over 17 years of experience. We are currently seeking a Licensed Electrician. We are looking for a mature and responsible licensed electrician journeyman that is capable of performing standard electrical installations, testing and diagnostic skills. One that will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.
Duties:
- Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Troubleshoot motor and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
Requirements:
- 5 years previous experience as a 309A Electrician preferred
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (Required)
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable with both commercial and residential installations
- Must have all safety requirements including Fall Arrest, Working at Heights, and Elevated Work Platform
- Experience with wiring branch and multi-branch circuits
- Experience bending conduit (EMT and PVC)
