Fay Farms in Grimsby is looking to hire a part-time General Labourer to work at the Grimsby Landfill. This is a part-time position providing work 2-3 days per week including Saturdays. The General Labourer is responsible to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the container station.
Duties:
- Ensure all traffic areas are clean and safe
- Direct the public to the appropriate container
- Ensure no prohibited material is being dumped
- Keep the area surrounding and below the containers clean
- Pick up trash and blowing debris around the landfill site as required
- Assist the equipment operators if required
- Assist in clearing and cleaning spills
- Assist Attendant as required
Requirements:
- Able to deal with the public in a positive manner
- Able to work independently
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Transportation to work
