Fleming Chicks is seeking a Delivery Helper. This position offers full time hours with a start date as soon as possible. Delivery days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Note: Schedule can involve Wednesdays and Saturdays when required. Start time is usually 6:00-8:00am to maximum of 13 hours.
Duties:
- Delivery of chicks to farms and other Hatcheries
- Animal Welfare Training to Maple Lodge Farm Standards
- Cleaning and sanitation of trucks and equipment
- Lifting, bending, pushing, pulling of racks, buggies and stacks of chickens
- Customer service in a professional manner with customers
Requirements:
- Must understand and be concerned to ensure Animal Welfare Policies
- Work with live poultry at hatcheries and farms
- Will be trained for specialty equipment involving trucks and tailgates
- Personal safety and safety of other employees
- Must be in good physical condition
Wage starts at $15.12/hour then at 3 months is $16.55/hour.
Generous Benefit program starts at 3 months.
RRSP starts at 1 year.
Time and a half after 44 hours. Paid Weekly.
