Front Row Sports, is seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator to join their team. The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, adjusting and operating embroidery machines. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all finished products meet company standards.

Duties:
  • Sets up and adjusts machines and stitching items for proper operation
  • Changes thread to follow order specifications
  • Examines product for manufacturer defects, position of design, stitch clarity, color accuracy or other flaws and adjusts equipment accordingly if needed
  • Completes daily paperwork, including production log of quantity produced, scrap and related information
  • Performs preventive maintenance duties, such as replacing broken needles and hoop change adjustments, daily cleaning and lubricating
  • Maintains a clean and neat work area
  • Performs duties safely and in accordance with company safety policies
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested by supervisor/management
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent or reading, writing and math skills of the same
  • Previous experience using Wilcom Embroidery Studio and Wilcom Design Explorer an asset but not required
  • Previous embroidery experience an asset but not required
  • Previous experience using Wilcom Embroidery Studio and Wilcom Design Explorer an asset
  • Prior retail knowledge of sports equipment and apparel an asset but not required
  • Excellent ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Detail oriented
  • Electronically savvy an asset
  • Maintain a professional attitude with customers and fellow employees
  • Position involves repetitive movement and 90% computer use
  • Available to work a variety of hours, which may include mornings, evenings and weekends
