Galaxy Pallets
Galaxy Pallets is a local lumber processing facility in Smithville who specializes in the custom design and manufacture of wooden pallets, skids, crates, floral racks and bins as well as wood boxes and many other specialty wood products for the shipping industry. They are currently seeking General Labourers/Nailers.
Duties:
- Reading production orders and diagrams/blueprints
- Assemble wood products using staples, screws, bolts, nails or other fasteners
- Use of hand, air and power tools
- Inspect final product to ensure conformance to quality standards
- Mark and report defective materials and/or product
Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or woodworking an asset
- Knowledge and experience with use of hand, air and power tools an asset
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Steel toe boots
