A local Grimsby employer is looking to grow their team and has a need for an experienced Cylindrical Grinder.
Duties:
- Make precision measurements of large steel rolls using a micrometer
- Read and interpret drawings to ensure accurate measurements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate inaccuracies to co-workers and/or other departments
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Experience working with large steel roles
- 3 years experience is preferred
- Experience using a micrometer or similar devices to obtain precise measurements
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to learn
- Comfortable reading and interpreting drawings
- Reliable transportation
