We are looking for an experienced Grounds Person with a DZ licence that can handle urban residential jobs. Could this be you???!!! Our clients range from small residential homes, to multi- unit complexes. We are looking for someone who has a passion for driving, operating large machinery and who loves to exceed client expectations.

Duties:
- Boom Truck driving experience 3-5 years preferred
- Tree identification skills
- Experienced working in urban residential areas
- Able to schedule jobs taking into consideration travel time between clients
- Complete tree removal, tree trimming and pruning using a boom truck
- Collecting debris from tree trimming and tree removal. Maintaining a safe and clean environment once the job is complete
- Work with ladders and at various heights
- Knowledge of handling ropes and knots
- Must have knowledge of how to use and maintain chain saws, pruners, chipper and other related equipment
- Experience working with and maintaining a chipper
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Requirements:
- DZ Licence 3-5 years – must provide driver’s abstract upon hire - Required
- Arborist Certification - preferred
- Ability to provide estimates and quote jobs for customers
- Effectively manage customer service expectations
- Process payments from clients via cheque, cash and credit cards
- Ability to communicate internally with all team members and with client base
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
- Great work ethic, honest, on time and reliable
- Presentable, neat and clean appearance
- A team player with a positive attitude
Working Conditions
- This is an outdoor job which requires the candidates to work under all weather conditions all year round
- The successful candidate must have the flexibility to work varying schedules including weekends
