To install underground lawn sprinkler systems in a professional, safe, friendly, and ethical manner.

Duties:
  • Help hook up to and load trailer
  • Install sprinkler heads, connections and valves
  • Hand digging through gardens and other small areas
  • Restore lawn and gardens after work is complete
  • Spin pipe
  • Keep job site clean
  • Make sure you have enough pipe and parts for your job
  • Keep vehicle clean and stocked with parts
  • Work in a safe manner including appropriate PPE
  • Create a positive attitude towards H&S and other company procedures
  • Act as an ambassador  to employees, customers, contractors, and possible customers
  • Perform openings, closings, and repairs work as required
Requirements:
  • Customer service oriented
  • Mechanically inclined (plumbing/pipe fitting/ electrical experience with a multimeter is an asset)
  • Punctual, meticulous and reliable
  • Problem solver
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Trustworthy
  • Able to work unsupervised and as a team
  • Valid Driver’s licence
  • Experience driving a trailer an asset
  • Maintain high standards of personal conduct on the job site including driving habits
  • Maintain High standard of uniform policy including blue pants, shirts and hats with company logo

Work weeks are 5 days, Monday to Friday starting at 7:30 in the morning, Saturdays during peak periods

  • Demanding (tough) weather conditions (working outside in heat, cold, rainy inclement weather)
  • Frequently exposed to noise and a regular flow of people
  • Frequently assigned to changing priorities
  • May be required to work overtime, with paid compensation
  • Extended periods of digging may be required
  • Working on customers properties
  • A lot of walking can be involved
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
