Optometrist Assistant/Receptionist – #7018 – A

• Check patients in/out using EMR system
• Pre-test patients using optometry equipment (Auto-Refractor)
• Clean waiting room after patient use
• Schedule appointments, answer telephone calls, fax, scan and filing
• Perform contact lens training
• Submit OHIP claims
• Sell and order frames/contact lenses
• Process Credit/Debit/Cash payments from patients

• Must have basic computer skills
• Must have the ability to multi-task
• Must be able to work well independently
• Must be available to work Monday 9:30am-1pm and Wednesdays 1:30pm-6pm; shifts are flexible other days
• Any experience in optometry is considered an asset but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
