James Deboer Contracting Ltd. has been in business since 1989 and is a full service company specializing in Propane. We are actively seeking 2 licensed HVAC Technicians. This position offers full time hours, a company truck, phone, work clothes as well as a benefits package. Pay is hourly plus overtime based on experience.
Duties:
- Specialize in commercial and residential maintenance, repair and service
- Maintain and service heating units and components
- Repair and service gas appliances; educate customers about safety and maintenance of gas units
- Start-up or adjust new or repaired equipment; test and replace defective equipment and components
- Measure and lay out reference points for installation
- Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
- Measure, cut and connect piping using threading and brazing equipment
- Commission systems and test for leaks using testing devices
- Interpret gas codes
- Handle, recover and store refrigerants
- Install, calibrate and repair control systems
- Read blueprints
Requirements:
- ODP Certificate
- G2 or G1 Gas License
- Class G Drivers Licence with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years experience in HVAC
