A local foundry in Grimsby is seeking a full time Labourer to start immediately and join their team. This position is highly physical and in a hot environment. Willing to train the right candidate.
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 6:00am -3:00pm
Duties:
- Pour molten metal into molds
- Set up, adjust and operate various mouldmaking and coremaking machines
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Able to do heavy physical work; heavy lifting
- Able to work in a hot environment
- Willing to learn
- Steel toe boots
- Must have own transportation
- Employer willing to train
- Health & Safety certificate, an asset
- WHMIS certificate, an asset
