Limani at Fifty Taverna, is seeking a confident and professional Cook/Line Cook to work in a new and exciting restaurant overlooking Lake Ontario. This location is one of the most beautiful marinas and offers a 5000 sqft patio!
As an ideal candidate, you must excel working in up-beat, collaborative team settings and have an exact eye for detail. The ideal candidate thrives on working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong work ethic.
- Ensure consistency of quality, portion control and plated presentation
- Ensure recipe adherence in kitchen execution of all products served
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies and procedures outline in the Health & Safety Program
- Build and maintain relationships with team members
- Demonstrate high personal integrity, business ethics and take every opportunity to promote the venue
- Use conflict resolution and problem solving skills
- Additional duties as assigned or required
- Minimum 4 - 5 years experience in the field, in a similar role
- Experience working the grill
- Knowledge of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Excellent knowledge of food, food handling and food preparation
- Strong communication skills
