Livingston Animal Hospital is affectionately known as “The Little Clinic with a Big Heart”. They take pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to patients and their pet parents in Grimsby and surrounding areas. Currently they are seeking a part time bookkeeper to work 10-15 hours per week.
- Process payables, receivables and payroll
- Make journal entries
- Prepare forms/documents as required
- Complete bank, credit card and other account reconciliations
- Execute file maintenance for accounting files
- Complete other accounting related duties as required
- Completion of a 2-year accounting related diploma or have a minimum of 2-3 years bookkeeping experience
- Possess a solid understanding of accounting principles
- Experience using Quickbooks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy of work
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with an ability to meet tight deadlines
- Effectively communicate with others in a courteous and professional manner
- Proven to be punctual and reliable
