This position will need you to make high level decisions and will have you doing other tasks when its all-hands-on deck. If this sounds like you, you can be the person to take us to the next level with our new retail location!
This is a full-time position with paid holidays in January and February when the company is closed.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and conduct retail store tastings
- Represent the London Born brand
- Promote and manage wine club
- Source and manage events
- Responsible for communicating, motivating, and incentivizing retail team to meet daily/weekly/monthly sales and wine club sign up targets
- Schedule staff shifts
- Give staff training and prepare training programs with Human Resource
- Ensure Staff behave in accordance with the London Born policies and procedures
- Represent the London Born brand
- Ensure staff appearance is clean and neat
- Liaise with financial controller and wine maker
- Ensure a Safe and Healthy Work Environment through the effective operation of the winery
- Sort and manage events
Additional Duties
- Oversee the restaurant both when running at full and limited capacity
- Assisting with overall operation and sales targets
- Responsible for communicating, motivating, and incentivizing retail team to meet daily/weekly/monthly sales and wine club sign up targets
- Manage daily/weekly cleaning and maintenance schedule shop supervisor
- Other duties as required
- Smart serve
- Food handler’s certification
- Be computer literate with an understanding of POS system
- Be able to utilize current social media trends
- Be able to lift 30lbs
- At least 3 years in hospitality in leadership role
- The candidate will have and be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills (Spelling test to be given.)
