We are expanding and are seeking a Tire Tread Technician to join our team!
Our Tire Retreading Plant is seeking responsible and reliable individuals to work in our tire retreading facility. This position offers full time hours, Monday to Thursday 5:00am to 2:30pm and Friday from 5:00am to 1:30pm.
Duties:
- Work with various manufacturing machinery & equipment in tire retread facility
- Tire mounting and dismounting
- Other duties as reasonably assigned
Requirements:
- Must be bondable
- Possess accurate and detailed organization skills
- Possess good listening skills
- Have a neat, professional appearance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Fork lift licence is not mandatory but is an asset
- WHMIS certified
- Speak and read fluent English; legible hand writing with good grammar
- Dependable
- Able to lift commercial tires 60+ lbs
- Work in a fast-paced, factory environment
- Adhere to safe work practices and procedures
- Tire mounting and dismounting experience, an asset
- Maintain company's standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relations
