A local construction company is seeking to fill multiple vacancies to meet the demands of a variety of work orders. Work sites will vary from job to job so candidates should have reliable transportation however carpooling groups are also available. Experience is preferred however the employer is willing to train someone who is hardworking and willing to learn. Employer will also help with some tools and equipment needed for the job!
Duties:
- Working with hand and power tools
- Erecting walls, including steel, drywall and wood frames
- Framing, siding and window & door installation
- Working at heights when required for the work order
- Maintaining a clear work space
- Following all Health & Safety policies/procedures and wearing Personal Protective Equipment as required
- Other duties as assigned by Management and/or site supervisor
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of health and safety requirements
- Able to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
- A self starter who shows initiative and keeps busy
- Attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
