NICO Renovations by Design Inc. is currently seeking candidates who are reliable, skilled, and experienced carpenters to join our established construction company. We are an established company serving the surrounding GTA area including but not limited to Toronto, Peel, Halton, Hamilton & Niagara. We are primarily looking for candidates who are excited to grow with the company, who are willing to learn new skills if necessary, and who take pride in their work. We take pride in our workmanship and aim to please while maintaining positive relationships with our clients. To succeed in this position, you will be dedicated, hardworking, and a true team player, with a passion for the trade and a sense of pride in your work.

Duties:
  • Responsible for ensuring quality work is completed on time
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
  • Observe all safety requirements and regulations at all times
  • Knowledge of building and construction practices and building codes
  • Work well within a team or independently and maintain a positive attitude
  • Self motivated and schedule conscious
  • Provide consistent, regular project updates to management/owner when needed
  • Minimize waste and maximize efficiency to reduce costs
  • Demonstrate a vast general knowledge of construction best practices
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all code requirements
  • Maintain excellent client relationships and procure new clients
  • Personal tools and a vehicle required
Requirements:
  • Must have 2 years of industry experience
  • Must have a drivers license
  • Must have own vehicle or truck to travel to difference job sites; we work in but not limited to Toronto, Peel, Halton, Hamilton & Niagara
  • Gas allowance will be provided when need

Kitchen Cabinetry Installation, Bathroom Renovations, Framing, Finish Carpentry, Drywall, Taping/Mudding, Flooring installation, Trim, Custom Millwork, A-Z entire home renovations
