A local landscape construction and property maintenance company is looking to hire a full time Landscape/Construction Labourer for the season. The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated individual who has some previous experience or who is willing to work hard and learn.
Duties:
- Install hard/soft landscapes (interlocking patios, fences etc)
- Commercial planting, sodding, grading
- Read construction plans and layouts
- Estimate materials
- Operate small machinery
- Maintain a clean and safe work enviornment
Requirements:
- G class licence is an asset - must have own transportation to and from work
- Clean driver's abstract
- Attention to detail and able to work independently
- Experience is preferred however employer will train the right individual
- Able to do heavy lifting; 40+ lbs
- Able to work in a labour intensive position, in all weather conditions
- Able to work long hours
