Position Summary
Represent Pepper & Thyme at farmers’ markets, festivals, pop-ups and community events by supporting setup, service, customer experience, POS, stocking, sanitation and teardown.

Key Responsibilities
● Assist with loading/unloading, booth setup, signage, tables, service equipment and product organization.
● Greet customers, explain menu items, take orders and provide friendly, efficient service.
● Operate POS/cash transactions accurately when assigned.
● Assemble/serve approved food and beverage items and maintain safe holding/service practices.
● Keep the booth clean, organized and customer-ready throughout the event.
● Restock food, beverages, packaging, condiments and supplies during service.
● Support line management and high-volume service during peak event periods.
● Assist with end-of-event inventory, waste, cash/POS reconciliation, cleaning, packing and teardown.
● Follow event-specific rules, public health/fire requirements communicated by Pepper & Thyme and instructions from the event lead.
● Report customer, food safety, equipment, injury or security concerns promptly.

Skills & Qualifications
● Outgoing, dependable and comfortable engaging with the public.
● Able to work outdoors and in changing weather/venue conditions where applicable.
● Market, festival, hospitality, retail or food-service experience is an asset.
● POS/cash experience is an asset.
● Food Handler Certification is an asset and may be required for certain duties.
● Able to lift/move event supplies and remain on your feet for extended periods.
● Weekend/evening availability is important for this role.
