Premier Family Farms is currently seeking a Jr. Accountant to join their growing team.
Duties:
- Accounts payable
- Billing and accounts receivable
- Payroll and health care benefits
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements, annual budgets and year-end file preparation
- Cash management including deposits and cash flow reports
- Tax remittances, including corporate income tax and transactional HST
Requirements:
- Completion of a 2-year accounting related diploma or entry level CPA program
- 1 to 3 years of accounting related experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication skills – both verbal and written
- Proven analytic skills
- Must be hands-on, proactive, and results-driven
- Strong computer literacy with excellent Excel proficiency
- QuickBooks and EDI software systems experience a definite asset
