Pride Mobility Products in Beamsville is seeking a Quantum and Pride Product Support Technician to join their team. The Quantum and Pride Product Support Technician assists in trouble-shooting Quantum Rehab and Pride products and provides technical support for all providers.

Duties:
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
  • Follow and complete prioritized duties
  • Assist in trouble-shooting Quantum Rehab and Pride products and provide technical support for all providers
  • Enter orders and data via the telephone, web, and faxes
  • Report all service complaints that can be deemed as a Quality concern to the Regulatory and Compliance team (injury, property damage, etc.)
  • Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
  • Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
  • Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
  • Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
Requirements:

Required Skills: 

  • Must be a team player, professional, detail-oriented, and honest

Must have the ability to:

  • Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
  • Use hand tools and standard power tools
  • Read and comprehend work instructions

Must have:

  • Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
  • Excellent telephone etiquette skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Oracle
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • Pride product knowledge
  • Pride parts knowledge

Preferred Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in technical service and/or call center environment
  • At least 1 year of experience in mechanical and/or electrical field
  • At least 1 year of experience in an environment supporting design, manufacturing, or technical processes
  • Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Company

Required Education: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education

  • Degree in an electronic, technical or biomedical related field
