A family local to Smithville is looking for a Personal Care Attendant or PSW to assist their female family member with day to day activities.This role is part time requiring 9-11 hours of work per week, consisting of primarily day time morning shifts for 2-3 hours at a time from Monday to Friday.
Duties:
- Assisting with mobility needs
- Supporting individual with range of motion exercises
- Providing assistance with personal care
- Household tasks including cooking and cleaning
- Providing transportation to appointments and shopping
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Personal Care Attendant or PSW is an asset
- No PSW certification is required
- Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s Licence required with use of a vehicle
- Suitable references and a recent Vulnerable Sector Check
- Physically fit and suitable for the job duties
