A local company specializing in erecting pre-engineered steel buildings is currently looking to hire Labourers for full time positions offering 40 hours per week. The anticipated start date is February 8, 2021
Duties:
- Erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
- Carrying and moving components of building
- Signaling crane operators
- Reading blueprints
- Welding and bolting units in place; putting nuts and bolts together
- Installation of rigging
- Working alongside ironworkers/tradespeople and assisting as required
Requirements:
- Completion of high school an asset
- Able to work at heights and in confined areas
- Steel toe boots and hard hat are mandatory
- Working at Heights training an asset
- Own transportation required
