Sassafras Coastal Kitchen & Bar
Sassafras Coastal Kitchen & Bar, a new restaurant located in Beamsville, serving a Coastal and Roadhouse style menu is actively seeking Full and Part Time Line Cooks to join our staff.
Hours of work will vary. Approximately 30-45 hours, 3 to 5 days a week, Sunday through Saturday.
We are looking forward to having you join our team!
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables and meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
- Clean and maintain a safe work station
- Stock inventory
- Ensure that food is prepared with high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- A minimum of 2 years proven cooking experience
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry best practices
